Jeon Jung-kook, better known mononymously as Jungkook, was born on September 1, 1997, in Busan, South Korea. From a young age, he showed an interest in music and dance, and at the age of 15, he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment's "Superstar K" talent show. After being eliminated, he received offers from multiple entertainment companies but ultimately chose Big Hit.

In 2013, Jungkook became the youngest member of the boy band BTS, which debuted in June of that year. Since then, BTS has become one of the most successful K-pop groups of all time, with a massive global following. Jungkook is known for his powerful vocals, exceptional dance skills, and charismatic stage presence.
