NBA Coaching Career:

Michael Malone's NBA coaching career spans three teams:

• Sacramento Kings (2013-2014)
• Denver Nuggets (2015-present)

National Team Coaching Experience:

In addition to his NBA coaching experience, Malone has also coached internationally:

• Head coach of the Chinese national team (2023 FIBA World Cup)

Coaching Accomplishments:

Over Malone's 27 seasons coaching in the NBA, his teams have achieved significant success:

• 20 playoff appearances
• Combined regular season record of 1165-1001

Early Coaching Career:

Before joining the NBA, Malone gained coaching experience at the college level:

• Assistant coach at Canisius College (1994-1995)
• Assistant coach at Villanova University (1995-1998)

He also coached in the CBA (Continental Basketball Association) for the Detroit Pistons (1992-1995).
