Share Your Wi-Fi Password Effortlessly with iPhone
Unlock Device and Connect to Network
Ensure that your device, from which you wish to share the password, is unlocked and connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Access Settings
iPhone with Face ID
Go to "Settings" > Tap on your Apple ID > Select "Password & Security" > Choose "Share Wi-Fi Password".
iPhone with Touch ID
Go to "Settings" > Tap on "Wi-Fi" > Select the connected network > Choose "Share Password".
Authorize with Biometrics
Use either Face ID or Touch ID to authorize the sharing of your password.
Share Password
Option 1: Direct Sharing
Hold the devices close together and follow the on-screen prompts to share the password directly.
Option 2: QR Code Scanning
On the receiving device, open the camera app and scan the QR code displayed on the sharing device.
Note for iPhone 11 and Later
If you prefer not to bend down to view the device's bottom, you can also share the Wi-Fi password by going to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" > Select the connected network > Choose "Share Password".
